Harbinger Winery is one of our favorites. Nestled in the far northwest corner of Washington State, Harbinger offers some of the best wines in the region. The amazing front door alone is worth the trip, and the friendly staff always make wine tasting a pleasure. But even if you can’t get there in person, Harbinger lets you order their wine online–and that’s something to be happy about! We discovered Harbinger the year after they opened, and they’ve now been producing consistently good wine for over a decade. Harbinger is definitely a keeper!

Whatever their secret, the vintners here have mastered the craft, and Harbinger’s reds, whites, and specialty wines excel in their ability to please the palate. And the reasonable prices make it easy on the wallet! The people who work there also add an extra layer of awesomeness; the staff and owners clearly love their jobs and are always ready to help you find the right wine for any occasion.

Our Favorite Wines
For a very enjoyable medium-dry red table wine, we suggest Harbinger’s Dynamo Red. Fans of the white grape should try the award-winning La Petite Fleur. Looking for something sweeter-but-not-too-sweet? Try the White Riesling.
Harbinger’s most interesting and original wines, though, are definitely their berry wines: Blackberry Bliss and (when you can get them), Raspberry Bliss and Cranberry Bliss. While most berry wines come across as too sweet for our taste–even cloyingly sweet–Harbinger produces what one might call a dry berry wine. The result is truly amazing: a dry wine that tastes like a glass of fresh raspberries or blackberries, with a delightful edge of sweetness that is neither overwhelming nor lingering. Make sure to include a bottle of Harbinger’s Berry Bliss wines in your online order.
